At The Freckled Farm Soap Company LLC your privacy is important to us. Any information that you share on our website, by either opening an account or filling out the cart, is used for the purpose of The Freckled Farm Soap Company LLC only. We will not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Your credit card or debit card information is stored with PayPal and not our website.
When you share your email with us during the ordering process you will be added to our newsletter. Periodically, no more than once or twice a month, you will receive an email about any specials we may be offering or new soaps or products we may be debuting. You may opt out of the newsletter at anytime by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of the newsletters email.
Payment
We currently use PayPal as our method of payment. With this option you may use Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, or your PayPal balance. Since we use PayPal your card information is stored with them and not on our website.
Shipping
Your order will ship within three-five business days. We ship through USPS and shipping cost is determined by the weight of the order and destination. Shipping cost is determined at the time of check out.
It is your responsibility to track your package. If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered and you have not received it, please first check with other members of your household and neighbors to see if they have the package. If you are still unable to locate the package contact your local post office. They have the ability to use GPS coordinates to check if your package was delivered to the correct address. If the post office determines that the package was delivered to the wrong address or lost it will be covered by insurance. If this is the case contact us and we will begin the insurance process for you. If they determine that it was delivered to the correct address the insurance will not cover the replacement for the package or shipping. Many instances may occur at your delivery address that are beyond our control, because of this the purchaser agrees that any delivery confirmation provided by the carrier is deemed sufficient proof of delivery. We do not provide full replacements or refunds on packages that were deemed delivered by the carrier, however we offer a discount to cover costs the first time a package is stolen from a customer. If you have a chronic problem with packages being stolen from your address please contact us so we can add a signature requirement to your shipment to prevent it being stolen.
Refunds and Exchanges
We will honor refunds or exchanges for any damaged or defective product. If you are unhappy with your purchase you may ship the unused item or items back to us and we will issue a refund (minus any shipping costs) when we receive the items. Returns must be approved before shipping. Damaged and/or missing products must be reported within 3 days of delivery. All other refunds or exchanges must be done within two weeks of the original shipping date. Please contact us for more information on how to process your refund or exchange.
