  • Soap Sets – Luxury Set

    It’s Valentines day, a perfect day to talk about adding a little luxury into your life. We all need to take a little time to focus and take care of ourselves. It’s far to easy to put yourself last. Luxury soaps are the perfect way to pamper yourself without breaking the bank.

    Lavender Goat Milk Soap – This soap has the wonderful and relaxing scent of lavender. It’s a great addition to a warm relaxing bath.

    Deep Space Goat Milk Soap – This soap is an outstanding facial cleanser. It features both lavender and tea tree essential oils.

    Deep Sea Goat Milk Soap – This soap is another deep cleanser and its scent will remind you of a day at the spa!

    Rosewood Salt Goat Milk Soap – This soap is made of Himalayan pink salt and has a pumice like feel. It’s a fantastic way to pamper your feet, elbows, and other rough spots.

  • Topped or Not Topped… That is the question!

    When we first got into the soap making business we had three soaps that included a decorative topping. The vast majority of our customers adored these embellishments but there were a few that didn’t like that they came off over the course of several uses, so we started to offer a topped and a not topped option for each. Today we only make two soaps with this option.

    Our Lavender Goat Milk Soap is topped with beautiful blue/purple lavender buds. It doesn’t affect the scent of the soap and is purely decorative.

    Our Oatmeal Honey Goat Milk Soap is topped with oats but again this is just a decoration. Topped or not topped our Oatmeal Honey has ground oatmeal throughout, making it a light exfoliant.

    Which choice is best for you? When customers ask me which they should pick I always tell them… If you plan to put the soap on display at the sink or if the topping just makes you happy then go with the topped option. If you don’t care either way, or plan to use the soap in the bath (which means the little lavender buds or oats will be floating around you) then go with the untopped option.

  • What’s in our Soap Dish – September

    Fall will be settling in soon and our already busy season is about to ramp up even more! It’s nice to have a few soaps that help you relax for a short time and make feel like you are pampering yourself. I find that it’s incredibly important to go into the (extremely) busy season on the right foot, so I make sure to make time to take care of myself! These are the soaps I like to use to do that!

    Deep Sea Goat Milk Soap

    Our Deep Sea Goat Milk Soap is one of our top sellers and is one of my favorite soaps to use. The feel of the lather and the scent reminds me of a spa. I find it incredibly relaxing. It’s the soap I like to use when I need a moment to myself to relax and regroup.

    Deep Space Goat Milk Soap

    Have you tried our Deep Space Goat Milk Soap yet? We debuted it a earlier this year and it has been a great addition to our soap line. I love using this soap on my face. The charcoal, lavender, and tea tree are the perfect ingredients for getting our face clean and it has that same “spa” feel of the Deep Sea.

    The day is finally here… The day that I consider the biggest release of our 4 weeks of new product releases! Our Goat Milk Lotion!

    Goat Milk Lotion from The Freckled Farm Soap CompanyWe have had so many customers over the years ask us to carry goat milk lotion, and while it has always been part of the plan, like with our soaps, we wanted it to be really special. Something that would stand out from other lotions. So, we have been working on this recipe for a while, making small incremental changes, having friends and family test it, all trying to figure out the perfect recipe… and a few months ago we finally felt like we found it! We then had to let it sit on a shelf for months so we could test how it would hold up in someone’s home. When you are working with a product like milk you can never be too careful! So after so much work we are extremely excited to finally release this awesome product to the public! We know that all of our patient customers are going to be extremely pleased.

    I may be slightly biased, but these lotions are amazing! They are rich, creamy, and soft, and they don’t leave your skin feeling wet and greasy. They have a very luxurious feel that I would describe as being somewhere between a regular lotion and a body butter, and they smell wonderful.

    Spring has sprung! What’s in our soap dish for Spring?

    On the first day of spring we brought back our Spring Goat Milk Soap and during April it really gets some use around here. As we slowly ease into spring this soap boosts our spirits and helps us shake off the winter slump. It has the earthy scent of lemongrass and the light floral scent of rose and lavender that make us dream of the flowers that will soon be blooming all over the farm.

    Rosewood Salt Goat Milk Soap

    Our Rosewood Salt Soap is a regular in this house, but it really gets used this time of year. It won’t be long before bare feet and flip-flops come out, so it time to get my feet back into shape after being in boots the last few months. Rosewood Salt makes a great foot bar! It exfoliates and softens.
