Why haven’t we announced this yet? Maybe because the last two weeks have been crazy… to say the least. We have had the great pleasure of being highlighted in the July/August issue of R.Home magazine (a division of Richmond Magazine) under the “Stuff We Like” section. Today is the Summer Solstice and we are extremely excited to introduce our new Summer Goat Milk Soap! This soap was created with your summer skin care needs in mind. It is made with goat milk (of course!), natural oils, aloe, and green tea. It is scent free and is perfect for those days when you feel that you have maybe gotten a little too much sun!
We all know the benefits of aloe on dry, sunburnt, and irritated skin. Who hasn’t slathered themselves with aloe after a day of spending to much time in the sun? With our Summer soap we use the aloe in addition to our goat milk as a base, making this soap even more moisturizing and healing! It calms and cools skin. Green tea has been shown in studies to help repair damaged skin cells and fight free radicals caused be UV rays. So as you can see this soap calms, cools, and can help repair your skin. It’s the prefect summer soap!

I haven’t been keeping up with the blog in the last few weeks. It’s just been too busy! I hope to write an update soon, as we have a bunch of really great things coming up (including a giveaway of our Summer soap!). Right now I am just taking a second to let everyone know that we will be at the West End Market for the first time this week and we will be there sporadically throughout the rest of the summer. Mother’s day is this Sunday and in honor of this very important holiday we are doing a Mother’s Day “Spa Package” giveaway! Moms are some of the hardest working people in the world and we want to give one lucky momma out there a way to pamper herself.
This is a rare treat for those of you who are not able to come out and see us in person at the farmers markets or craft shows, because our bath teas and scrubs are not currently available on our website!

It’s that time of year! Time to shed our winter skin and prepare for summer! Our wonderful scrubs exfoliate and moisturize. Our salt scrubs, called scrub and soaks, give you the option to apply them directly to your skin or to spoon several tablespoons into the running water of your bath and enjoy a relaxing soak.

Spring is finally here!! This winter was rough and it felt like it went on forever. I don’t think there has ever been a year where I was more excited for this season change, and to celebrate we have decided to do a giveaway with the newest addition to our goat milk so line – our Spring soap!
Our Spring soap is the first soap in our “season” series. Each season this year we will debut a new soap to represent that season. It will only be available during that season, so if you are a fan you will need to stock up or wait for it to come around again next year.
Our Spring soap is scented with the essential oil of calendula, also know as Pot Marigold. It has a deep floral scent and because of the essential oil is naturally yellow. It is topped with the wispy yellow petals of the calendula flower. This beautiful bar just screams SPRING!
